So what?

Kings kill people for speaking their mind. Kings kill people for protesting. Kings kill people for not believing in God. Kings kill people for believing in science. Kings take anything they want for any reason. Kings created slavery and enforced it around the world. Kings use gruesome tortures, not even seen in horror movies, to get confessions from innocent men, women, and children.

A group of imperfect men believed free and educated people could rule instead of kings. The United States of America sprung into existence as a great experiment in ruling a nation without kings.

Governor Clinton of New York wanted kings. New York State had enough power and influence to get kings instead of free people to rule the USA. The Governor of New York decided to get rid of the laws of freedom. No one could stop Governor Clinton.

In response to Governor Clinton’s attempt to get a king for the USA, I posted 85 blogs explaining the benefits of living without kings. I explained the newly written US Constitution to the 99%

Because normal people understood the Constitution, Governor Clinton failed to destroy freedom. It only took 85 posts.

Here, I intend to repost those same blogs, translated into modern English and modern thought. Please repost and link at will.

Sad Ending for Liberals

Let’s start off with a study out of London–one of the hearts of Liberalism in the English speaking world.

Lonely Lives: Alarming Number Of Seniors Go Entire Week Without Talking To Anyone

I’m sure the link will disappear eventually, as digital means temporary. So, let me summarize the study using a quote from the article.

“These latest figures show that hundreds of thousands of older people in the UK will spend today and the rest of this week alone, with no one to share even a few simple words with.”

-Caroline Abrahams

Two things not mentioned in the article are church and children. How many of these seniors that never speak to anyone in a week fell for the Liberal agendas of aborting their babies and staying away from church? Now they are alone and miserable. God and their children did not desert them. They turned their backs on God and having children.

I’ve seen this situation play out in the lives of acquaintances at work. They’re closing in on senior citizen age, living with aging parents who will not out live them. They’re divorced, if they ever got married in the first place. And, have no children, because that is what the religion of Liberalism told them would bring happiness.

The worst part is that they still stand by this lifestyle of misery.

Lest anyone say, “Good. They brought it on themselves.” Remember the words of King Benjamin.

“Perhaps thou shalt say: The man has brought upon himself his misery; therefore I will stay my hand, and will not give unto him …

But I say unto you, O man, whosoever doeth this the same hath great cause to repent; and except he repenteth of that which he hath done he perisheth forever, and hath no interest in the kingdom of God. For behold, are we not all beggars? Do we not all depend upon the same Being, even God?”

Mosiah 4

He was speaking specifically of giving food and money where needed, but it applies equally to giving emotional support.

This study proves there are many older people around us that need social support and friendship. Look around for older people that have found themselves in this state of loneliness. Relieve their suffering. Be friendly, and give them a reason to smile and talk to someone on a regular basis. Be their friend.

Exodus of Israel from Egypt

I’ve been researching the Exodus of Israel from Egypt, and also trying to establish the route of the exodus. Also, I’ve been looking for the time Joseph the son of Jacob came to prominence in Egypt. I feel satisfied that I have narrowed the time periods of both to acceptable ranges.

I believe that Joseph’s Pharaoh was actually two pharaohs. The first pharaoh was Senusret II, during the 12th dynasty of the Middle Kingdom of Egypt. During this time, co-regency was accepted and practiced commonly. Seeing how Joseph was made co-regent after giving pharaoh the interpretation of his dream, this fits the Bible account. Also, the time of Senusret II is within the time period described by the Bible as 480 years before Solomon’s temple (1 King 6:1) plus 430 years before Exodus (Exodus 12:40-41) plus the life of Joseph before coming to power in Egypt. That’s over 910 years before Solomon’s temple.

I Believe in Christ

I don’t believe in magic, and I rarely believe in the improbable.

Growing up, I used to hear the question, “If there was an explosion at a printing company, is it possible for that explosion to result in a perfectly printed and bound copy of the Bible being created?”

The answer of course is “no”. No sane person would claim a fully printed and bound copy of the Bible could be created from a random explosion. The speaker then would continue on to point out that a person needs to create a Bible for it to exist. In the same way, a human being could not have been created by chance of evolution. Humans must have a creator if something much less complex, like a Bible, needs a creator.

I would take this analogy a step further.

God of Chaos Asteroid

Does the world end April 13, 2029?

No. Even if the asteroid 99942 Apophis hit Australia, resulting in year-round winter-like conditions and contamination of a third of the world’s water with sulfuric acid, I don’t think it would be the end of the world. Don’t get me wrong, it would be bad, with 100’s of millions dead, but it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

99942 Apophis will pass between the Earth and its communications satellites with the slight possibility of taking out some satellites while zooming by. I don’t think it will actually hit Earth in 2029, but there are likely other smaller asteroids that travel with it that will hit earth.

Remember 367943 Duende? No. I’m sure you don’t. But, the same day it was making its close approach, the 20 meter wide Chelyabinsk meteor blew apart over Russia with the force of a nuclear bomb, sending 1500 people to the hospital, and damaging 7200 buildings.

So, could a companion of Apophis hit Earth. Yeah. Honestly, that won’t likely affect me or anyone I know, so I’m not extremely concerned about a meteor hitting earth that day.

Now on the other hand, I would be very concerned about the change in trajectory of 99942 Apophis caused by this close approach. Also, it’s the asteroids you don’t see that get you. (Poor attempt at humor, but true.)

Know the Heart by Their Fruit

Look for the results of a person’s labors to know their heart. Do they spread hate and harm, or peace and love? The results of their actions, not their words will show you what is in their heart.

Matthew 7:16-20

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Adding Peace

I had to add “peace” to my computer’s dictionary, today.

I typed the word “peace”, and the computer flagged it as a misspelled word. I found that surprising, so double-checked and then triple-checked my spelling. I spelled peace correctly.

With all the hate and vitriol in this world these days, it shouldn’t surprise me that my computer’s dictionary lacks “peace.” So, I added “peace” to my computer’s dictionary. Not much, but I did something to promote peace in this hate-filled world.

Types of Prepping

Every time I start talking of disaster and collapse scenarios that are possible, my wife buys extra ice cream. If I mention we are in the final stages of the “Everything Bubble.” More ice cream appears in the fridge. If I rant about how we’re following the paths of Venezuela, Greece, and Cuba, more ice cream appears in the fridge. And if I mention the organized crime taking over our courts, border cities, and government, she buys more ice cream.

It sounds funny when it’s ice cream, but many preppers—especially fledgling preppers—take a similar approach to their preps.
