Jesus Lived a Perfect, Sinless Life

The whole point of Christianity as originally taught is that Jesus was without blemish. He did nothing wrong. Our world judged and condemned him, giving him the right to judge our world.

That is how justice works. The world condemned the only innocent and perfect being to live here, so that one perfect being, Jesus Christ, now by the demands of justice is allowed to return judgement on our world to make things equal.

There is more to it than that. Jesus was the only perfect being to live on this planet. He literally was half God. He had the ability to live forever, being part God, and the ability to die, being part mortal. He had to be willing to let himself die, otherwise he wouldn’t have died.

Also, the night before his crucifixion and then again on the cross all the guilt and pain of every living soul was put on his shoulders. He felt it all. Even though he was innocent, he felt all the pain and guilt that every person ever deserved or caused.

Then he willingly died, as the last step of his willing sacrifice.

He now has the right to judge us and all of this world. Luckily for us, he has no intention of condemning everyone. He intends to show mercy on any who are willing to change their ways, and follow his teaching of loving God and loving everyone, even loving their enemies.

Also, because he was half God, he did not have to stay dead. After a few days, he took up his body again, and lives. He can and will give the gift of life again to every person who ever lived.

This is called resurrection. All people will live again in a perfect body that never suffers death.

Everyone, will be resurrected when Christ chooses. Everyone will be judged, also, by Christ.

He will show mercy on those that seek to do his will. He will punish those that willfully ignore him and his commandments to love God and all people.

I have been through Cache Valley on a Sunday

If you have ever seen The Other Side of Heaven, you are familiar with John H. Groberg. He is the main character in that movie. This is a beautiful talk he gave in 1984 to the General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The original talk with video can be found here. The Power of Keeping the Sabbath Day Holy

by John H. Groberg

How I pray for the Spirit of the Lord to continue to be with all of us, as it has been thus far.

The injunction from God to “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy” (Ex. 20:8) has been in force throughout human history. There is power in keeping the Sabbath day holy. I testify that God lives, that we are his children, that he loves us, and that he gives us commandments so he can bless us as we keep them and thereby have joy. As we keep the Sabbath day holy he will bless us, and we will achieve a quiet power for good as individuals, as families, and as nations, that we cannot obtain in any other way.

Let me give two examples: Continue reading “I have been through Cache Valley on a Sunday”

Don’t Side with Evil

I have never liked Trump. However, now that I’ve seen the bias, hate, and rage of the most evil celebrities and powerful people directed at him, I have to ask, “Why would the most vile in our society hate anyone so much?”

The only answer I’ve been able to come up with is

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Revelations 12:12

The only people that the children of satan hate this much, are those that are serving God.

As I wrote above, I never liked Donald Trump. But, now I have to consider the possibility that he has changed and is doing God’s work. Why else would the most evil in our society have so much unconstrained wrath concerning him?

Luck and Laziness

Luck and Laziness

Luck tapped upon a cottage door
    A gentle, quiet tap;
And Laziness, who lounged within,
    The cat upon his lap.
Stretched out his slippers to the fire
    And gave a sleepy yawn;
“Oh, bother! Let him knock again!”
He said, but Luck was gone.

Luck tapped again, more kindly still,
    Upon another door,
Where Industry was hard at work
    Mending his cottage floor.
The door was opened wide at once;
    “Come in!” the worker cried,
And Luck was taken by the hand
    And fairly pulled inside.

He still is there a wondrous guest
    From out whose magic hand
Fortune flows fast—but Laziness
    Can never understand
How Industry found such a friend.
    “Luck never comes my way!”
He sighs and quite forgets the knock
    Upon his door that day.

Should Cities be Banned?

I have long suspected that large population densities are bad for humans. How bad? Look at the resulting population of every major city in the world, and you come to the conclusion, Very Bad.

What is bad? Bad is families breaking down. People turning their back on social norms that promote harmony and peace of society. Crime, sloth, and acceptance of the perversion of social norms eventually becoming common place.

I ran into this study showing what happens to rodents in a simulated urban center.

city_simulation_with_mice

The summary is that males lose their purpose and eventually become asexual. Females lose mothering instincts and eventually become infertile. The population literally dies out completely, not because of disease or violence, but because it turns its back on all its social norms that originally led to reproduction of the species.

This leads to an insight and a question.

First, if you want to have descendants for as long as there are people on this earth, teach your children to live in the countryside away from urban centers.

Second, the question. Should dense urban centers be banned for the good of culture, society, and the existence of our species? Should there be a legal limit to population density? Honestly, I don’t know, but I think this study says,  “Yes.”

Devil Virus

The regular TV news outlets have let us know we have nothing to worry about as far as the Coronavirus that has shut down a large chunk of China. Only 200 people have died. And, this is only a bad flu. “Remember to wash your hands!”

Reliable independent news outlets say the virus is likely a manmade virus created by slicing the Aids virus with a Flu-like virus and maybe others. The virus targets adult males, and uses children as carriers to spread through communities via public schools. China has been in full incinerate-the-bodies-and-coverup-the-deaths mode for a while now. This virus has an R0 of at least 4 and the mortality rate is around 11%.

Both sources say the Coronavirus has reached close to half the countries on earth.

Most worrisome is that there are no reported cases in Africa or South America, which means they haven’t found any of the cases that probably are in those areas, and it is spreading unchecked.

Historically, during the 1918 flu pandemic, whole cities shut down to prevent the spread. This pattern has repeated itself in China already. If this virus is as contagious as the independent outlets are reporting, it is not unimaginable that every major city in the world will be forced to shut down for at least a few weeks in 2020.

Shutdown cities means no food from supermarkets. Have enough food on hand to last a few weeks or even a few months without leaving your house.

Hopefully countries outside China succeed where China did not succeed in stopping the spread of this virus.

Christmas Carol Filter

I love Christmas music. Every song ranging from Gabriel’s Message to Winter Wonderland, make my December happier. I look forward to the music all year round.

Here’s a quick idea to make the Christmas season even more bright.

Make a special playlist for Christmas music that references the true meaning of Christmas–Jesus Christ. There’s a difference between “holiday music” and Christmas music. Singing about snow, Santa, and food is fun and festive, but that holiday music misses the point. Try listening to a playlist about Christ, doing good deeds, giving, angels’ celebrating, the world finding peace, and nativity scenes.

Having a special playlist of Christmas music devoid of “holiday music” will bring a special feeling into your Christmas season.

God Help Us!

God help us.

Secret combinations have spread across the world, and there is no place even in my country that they do not have strength. In much of the country they do what they please. Murders, slavery, rapes, thefts, and unbelievable wickedness goes completely unpunished, while those that defend their families or speak out about the pervasive evils are often thrown in jail, mobbed, or killed.

God will punish our nation and the world for what is happening, and if our nations do not repent, the punishments will result in millions or even billions of deaths.

Climate Change Fraud

Great video on how data cherrypicking has allowed fake results in climate change graphs and models.

From the video …

“We (UN-IPCC) redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy…. One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy”
