The regular TV news outlets have let us know we have nothing to worry about as far as the Coronavirus that has shut down a large chunk of China. Only 200 people have died. And, this is only a bad flu. “Remember to wash your hands!”
Reliable independent news outlets say the virus is likely a manmade virus created by slicing the Aids virus with a Flu-like virus and maybe others. The virus targets adult males, and uses children as carriers to spread through communities via public schools. China has been in full incinerate-the-bodies-and-coverup-the-deaths mode for a while now. This virus has an R0 of at least 4 and the mortality rate is around 11%.
Both sources say the Coronavirus has reached close to half the countries on earth.
Most worrisome is that there are no reported cases in Africa or South America, which means they haven’t found any of the cases that probably are in those areas, and it is spreading unchecked.
Historically, during the 1918 flu pandemic, whole cities shut down to prevent the spread. This pattern has repeated itself in China already. If this virus is as contagious as the independent outlets are reporting, it is not unimaginable that every major city in the world will be forced to shut down for at least a few weeks in 2020.
Shutdown cities means no food from supermarkets. Have enough food on hand to last a few weeks or even a few months without leaving your house.
Hopefully countries outside China succeed where China did not succeed in stopping the spread of this virus.
