Everyone has a world view built on axioms that they accept without question. Incorrect world views and beliefs come from beginning with the wrong axioms. Correcting someone’s world view often requires changing their founding axioms. But their axioms cannot change from logical argument, because they did not come from logic, but from feelings.
If you want to change an enemy into a friend, you must change their axioms. Logic did not create their axioms. Feelings created and cemented their axioms.
Feelings are the only way to repair and replace an enemy’s axioms. The strongest and most noble feeling for fixing axioms is love.
Love your enemies. Show love through forgiveness, words, and deeds. You may make a few of them into friends with similar beliefs as you.
